To be a decent dad and mother expects that the guardians concede their very own significant number requirements and wants for the necessities of their kids. As an outcome of this penance, honest guardians foster an honorability of character and figure out how to try the caring bits of insight showed by the Rescuer Himself.

Thank you Robert for adding to this discussion. I like your term, ‘honorability of character.’

It was interesting to me when you talked about how developing resilience in youth can help you protect them from going astray. I would think that helping your teen develop some level of spirituality could be a good way to help them gain resiliency. Having your teen attend youth conferences seems like a good way for them to learn how to develop some level of spirituality.

Thank you Henry for your comment. You are correct. Spirituality can indeed strengthen resilience whether that is participation in a faith community or a family that instills the practice of virtues into their parenting.

Thank you, for leaving a reply. I see you too, have a blog addressing teenage problems. The world has become complicated. I commend parents who seek out guidance, rather than blindly raising their children as their parents did or going in the opposite direction in reactionary mode. Conscious parenting is what our world needs!

Patricia the information you left is GOLD!!! I’ve been working with youth for over 15 years from Street kids, to church kids. This quiz is helpful like the slogan from the show & Action figure G.I. Joe “Knowing IS half the battle.” The info is thorough and educational which will make a difference in youth and adult communications. I will refer students and parents to this quiz. This is a huge stress reliever. Well done.
