This makes so much sense! There have been certain workplaces where I have felt comfortable being myself and have been supported in both my career aspirations as well as my occasional need to balance work and life, and there have been workplaces where I felt like I had to put on a facade and toe the company line. I feel truly blessed to be in the former environment right now!

      Hi Elaine,
Thank you for your comment. As your website indicates, you are a leader of nurses; one who encourages the practice of self-care. You deeply understand the role of resilience in creating a healthy workplace within the health professions. I hope some of my readers, who are health professionals, read about your work at http://www.leadnurses.com
